Physical Description:
Like the Bull shark, Lor is bluish/grey in color with an lighter grey stomach, neck and face. His hair is shaggy and black, often flowing around his face freely. Lor’s eyes are black, giving him the ability to hide his emotions well. His teeth, like any member of the Bull Shark Clan, are sharp and triangular. Lor is strong and well-muscled, but not to the point that he is bulky. Compared to most of the other Bull Shark clan members, Lor is considered to be a bit taller and bigger than normal.
Personality:
Lor is a smart and calculating merman. When he chooses not to speak, it is because he is determining the best route of action or figuring out another merman/merwoman’s weaknesses. Lor has a major temper when people insult him in any way and will often attack those who do. Being ruthless and cruel is something that comes naturally to him. He is not afraid of challenging those in power and speaking his mind.
Though he is mostly cold and standoffish most of the time, Lor can be caring to those who he decides to trust; which is a hard obstacle to face in itself. Once you gain the young heir’s trust, however, he will often sit by your side and protect you no matter what the cost.
Lor feels that the sea is a place for only the strong survive, so he believes that being weak is not an option. He understands what it takes to live in the Shark Kingdom and makes sure to prove himself worthy of being the heir to the Bull sharks.
One thing that Lor really doesn’t like is overconfidence. He feels that just because you are bigger or quicker than someone else, that it doesn’t mean that you are better. He hates it when other Mer, especially from different clans, underestimate him and his abilities. It makes him angry that they feel that they are above him. He strives for perfection in all things and feels that when people belittle him, that it is a strike at the hard work that he had put in to training and improving his skills.
History:
Lor was born into the Bull Shark Clan. Being the heir to the Bull Shark Clan, Lor was taught to fight and hunt from a very early age. He was perfectly trained in the ways of hunting, fighting, and all things related to being the nest head of the clan. He was also taught at that time to be wary of the other shark clans, because they were always fighting for power. This thought came into reality for Lor when his best, and only true friend, Calena was killed by a member of the Tiger Shark Clan.
Because of the lost of his dear friend, Lor became cold and ruthless to anyone around him; which included many of his clan members. He refused to trust others and open his emotions to them because he felt that if he did, then they would end up just like Calena did.
The only things the he really cares about is his pet Bull Shark, Duxor. They are usually always together and rarely stray from each other’s side. He has not yet been arranged to be married, but knows that he will eventually have to acquire a mate for him to become the next leader.
He dislikes the idea of having a mate for the simple fact that he feels that all of the females in his clan are too weak to be a proper mate. He would prefer to choose a mate that was outside of his clan, so that he could ensure the strength of his own bloodline.
