Physical Description:
Shiara, like most of her clan, is primarily gray in color with a pure white underbelly neck and and face. Her hair is a shimmering silver that sparkles like the waves and her eyes are solid black. When one is lucky, or unlucky, enough to see her smile several rows of sharp triangular teeth are revealed. Her form is fit and well toned, though at seven feet long she is slightly shorter then the average female of her clan.

Personality:
Like most of her clan Shiara is ruthless, natural born killer. She has a very short temper and is quick to anger, especially when her pride is damaged. Like most of her kind there is a slight arrogance about her, believing her skills of hunting and killing make her superior to weaker races of mer.

Despite her flaws Shiara can be kind and caring to those she allows close to her. She does not make friends easily however, like most of her kind she prefers solitude and rarely socializes with anyone even members of her own clan. The one true friend she claims is her pet white shark, Shaka. The two protect and guard each other fiercely and are nearly unstoppable when hunting.

History:
Shiara is the second child of the leaders of the White Shark Clan and current rulers of the Shark Kingdom, Xalier and his mate Sheana. Her older brother Zarna is the chosen heir to the White Shark Clan and future leader of the entire Shark Kingdom provider the White Shark clan maintain their rule over the kingdom.

Shiara had a childhood that was very typical of growing up in the White Shark Clan. She was taught to hunt and fight from the moment she was old enough to hold a spear. Being the King and Queen's daughter, however, she was held to a higher standard then most mer in her clan. Like her brother she is expected to be a fierce and merciless warrior. So far Shiara has lived up to her families expectations of her.

As the clan already has an heir in her brother Shiara is mearly a back up should something ever happen to Zarna. Because of this the young princess is also a bargaining tool for her father. As the Tiger Shark Clan has grown in number they now pose a serious threat to the White Shark Clan's supremacy over the Shark Kingdom. In order to maintain a peace between the two clans by uniting them through a marriage of his daughter and the heir to the Tiger Shark Clan Tyellis.

Despite wanting to please her father and do what is best for her clan, Shiara has grown accustom to the strong savage males of her own clan and finds the smaller Tiger Shark Mer to be weak despite their tensity. Though she has agreed not to go back on her father's word Shiara finds her future mate too weak for her tastes and would rather have a stronger more deadly male.
